I'm not a product junkie but I do have a few that I use enough of. I actually purchased the majority of these products in the last 3 months because prior to that I only have shea butter, vitamin E cream, almond oil, and shampoo. A product that works great for one style might not work at all for another style so you really have to experiment, can't stress just trying things out. |

Me ready for the night
Ready to go out and have fun. This photo is alittle old but it captures what products allow you to acheive. I used Abba pomade (I don't have any of that at the moment) and did a rollerset. I separated and put on a headband. Alittle makeup never hurt either ;)

Abba Products!
I love Abba's line of products. What I use most is the True Curl conditioner and the Nourishing hair/skin lotion. The gel in the blue tube is nice for doing roller sets, but I often mix it with aloe vera gel so my hair isn't all stiff or crunchy. The Recoup is a hair treatment that I've only used twice or so, I'll have to try it out again soon. |

J/A/S/O/N Vitamin E Moisturizing creme
This cream is actually for your face/skin. However, I tried it for two strand twists a month or so ago because I didn't have many products. They came out really nicely (your hair will be sooo fluffy and soft!) so now I use this in my hair as well as on my skin. |
J/A/S/O/N Natural Jojoba Conditioner
This is a great conditioner. It smells wonderful (like flowers) and allows me to easily detangle my hair. My hair feels nice and fluffy too! |

Shea Butter and Mango Butter
Mostly for my scalp if it's really dry or for when I'm doing two strand twists. Butters work pretty well for hot oil treatments as well. |
Aloe Vera Gel
This is nice for two strand twists if your hair is already well moisturized. I use this mostly on my face and body but as for hair care it's great in recipes. |

Apply Cidar Vinegar and Moisturizing Conditioner/Detangler
Apple cider vinegar works really well against dandruff/flakes/any build up you might have from using a lot of products in your hair. If you need alittle more punch, add some baking powder to your conditioner.
This shikai moisturizing detangler is a combo of a moisturizer, detangler, and conditioner for your hair. I use it right after washing/conditioning. |
Jason Fresh Botanicals Hairspray
I wanted this for when I band my hair. It doesn't contain nasty chemicals and no alcohol. It's nice but most hairsprays including this one tends to be a little sticky so I use alittle shea butter with it. It's a successful mixture! |

Abba Complete Shampoo
I like this shampoo a lot. It lathers nicely and alittle goes a long way. I've had this bottle for over a year now. It's alittle expensive but I gladly support all natural vegan companies. =) |
Abba Moisture Scentsation Conditioner
Love peppermint? Then you'll like this conditioner. It smells like peppermint and makes your head tingle alittle. It's also AMAZING for detangling and no-pooing. My hair feels soft after using this, it doesn't feel hard and stripped. |

Abba Gel Lotion
This is a gel but it's not the typical sticky gel thus the name gel lotion. It's a nice setting lotion. It helps define and keep frizz to a minimum, I think a little frizz is nice ;-) |
Shea Butter
Shea butter is amazing for two strand twists (as well as your skin) I use this a lot. I have one from the health food store and one from Crabapple. They're both pure and unrefined . |

My Facial Cleansing Routine
My facial products. Black soap to cleanse with and tea tree oil, and aloe vera gel to moisturize with. I've omitted the shea butter because it's alittle too moisturizing for my face. This routine's been helping my skin a lot. Thanksto Feepee (!) for putting up an album for skin care, I gave it a try and it's been helping me SO MUCH! I also recommend Jurlique's blemish cream for acne blemishes or spots. That's been reducing the appearance of mine, takes maybe 3-4 weeks to notice a different from what I've seen. |
